RIB FAQS
How should I cook beef ribs for best results?
Low and slow is key! Smoke, braise, or slow roast at a low temp to break down connective tissue and maximize tenderness. Korean ribs, however, are great grilled hot and fast.
How many people will one pack of ribs feed?
That depends on the cut!
- 1 rib can satisfy 1–2 people
- One rack typically serves 2–3
- A 1.5–2 lb pack can serve 3–4 when paired with sides
Do you ship ribs frozen? How do they arrive?
Yes—all our ribs are flash-frozen and vacuum-sealed to lock in freshness. They arrive frozen in insulated packaging with dry ice, ready to store or thaw and cook.
What’s the difference between beef back ribs, short ribs, and Dino ribs?
- Beef Back Ribs: Cut from along the rib roast (prime rib section), these have less meat between the bones but lots of flavor. Great for grilling and smoking.
- Short Ribs: Cut from the lower portion of the rib cage (plate or chuck), short ribs are meatier with more connective tissue—perfect for braising or smoking.
- Dino Ribs -plate short ribs: they’re extra-large, super meaty, and impressive in size. Best cooked low and slow for maximum tenderness and flavor.
