How It Works
A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your whole beef share.
The remaining balance can be paid through a payment plan that works for you or in one final payment prior to pickup.
When you purchase a whole beef, you’ll:
- Select your preferred cuts
- Communicate directly with the butcher
- Receive beef customized to your household’s needs
Pricing & Processing Details
All cut and wrap charges are included in your price per pound.
Your total cost is calculated as:
Hanging weight × price per pound + Idaho sales tax

Vacuum-sealed beef provides superior freezer protection and allows for a 1–2-year freezer life, making it easy to pull individual cuts as needed.
What to Expect for Yield
Based on our most recent harvest:
- Average whole beef hanging weight: 850–950 lbs.
- Take-home beef yield: ~55–57% of hanging weight. (Example: ~480 lbs. from an 850 lb. hanging weight)
Weights will vary, as we finish each animal to meet our high standards for quality and consistency.
