    A component that was really big for me: my son grabbed the jar, and my first instinct was to hurriedly take it away from him. Then I remembered what tallow is, and that it’s much safer for him to handle. I also like the “crunchy” or holistic nature of it, in that it’s not full of synthetic ingredients the way a lotion would be. I’m comfortable having it in an accessible location and I’m not worried about my son or dogs getting into or coming in contact with it. It makes my skin soooo soft and isn’t comedogenic, so I don’t have to worry about breakouts. I love this stuff!

What is beef tallow, really?

It’s rendered kidney fat, traditionally used for cooking and skincare. Rich in nutrients and totally natural—just like Grandma used to make.

Is it good for skin?

Tallow closely matches your skin’s natural oils, making it ultra-nourishing, soothing, and ideal for dry, sensitive skin.

It's rich in vitamins A, D, E, & K to nourish & protect skin naturally.

Does it smell like beef?

Ours? Nope. We render it low and slow, so it's clean and nearly scentless. Great for skincare.

How should I store it?

Store it in a cool, dry place. No refrigeration needed unless you want to extend shelf life.

If melting occurs, it will re-solidify without losing benefits.

Use within 12 months for best results

What makes TCC’s tallow better?

We render our tallow in small batches with care, using only high-quality fat from our own cattle. It's full-circle & full of benefits.

How do I apply it?

Scoop a small amount and rub between fingers before application. Apply to face, hands, body, or dry spots as needed. A little goes a long way!

What are the ingredients you use for your tallow?
